At 11:33pm on June 25, 2009, Laura L. Perez-Springer said…: Hey Gail and Bill! I like those new pictures on your site! :) I ran in the 1999 Chicago Marathon, finishing in 4:58:20! I was thinking about training for it again for my 10 year anniversary, but the aches and pains from years of workout abuse has me scared to try it again. It was definitely a great experience and I am glad I did it.

David got an "Outstanding Entry" for his car at the Romeoville Car Show. He didn't even place 3rd. It is so funny how these things are judged. It just all depends on the opinion of the judge. One car show he will get a perfect score on his tires and rims and then another he will not. Oh well. I'm pretty proud of the work he has done on it. We will definitely let you guys know when we head out to the Plainfield car show. Take care! Laura

At 5:30pm on June 12, 2009, Laura L. Perez-Springer said…: The Romeoville Car Show is Sunday, June 14 from 9:00-4:00. Look for my husband sitting by his "pride and joy" or as I would call it "The other woman!" He rebuilt this car on his own and has done some beautiful work on it. It is the car in my slide show. I have a church function to attend that day, but I should be there with him and the kids some time after 1:00 or 2:00. My husband and I have gone to the Plainfield car shows and will probably go to a few this this summer. Do you have a car that you enter in the shows?
