I am currently an On Air Personality/ Producer for the Warren Ballentine & Al Sharpton show. I left Chicago in 2000 to pursue my broadcasting career to Wilmington NC. I started off producing the Tom Joyner morning show for Cumulus Broadcasting. After 3 months I started working on air in the middays 10-2 as Toy St. John. After a 2 years I decided to move to a better market and get more experience and be closer to family. I moved to Denver Co. in 2002. I accepted a on air position with Infinity Broadcasting working the evening shift from 6-10 as Your Girl Toy. While I was working in the radio industry I decided to go and get my Real Estate license. Radio is a cut throat industry so I have to keep something always brewing in the background. Sure enough after 2 years I was let go the day before they changed the station to country. I stayed in Denver Co for another year to continue my Real Estate career. Then I had the opportunity to move to Charlotte to work for a Builder and sold new homes for a year. Radio came back into my life while I was working for the builder. I decided to work in Real Estate on my own and take the radio gig. I now work for Radio one in Charlotte for http://www.facebook.com/l/;q927fm.com as me Toya. I voice and produce many commercials in our market even on our sister station praise 100.9. So if hear any commercials and think it's me your probably right. I am currently trying to pursue a voice over career and go national. I have expanded my on air career to deliver the entertainment gossip news for http://www.facebook.com/l/;reddingnewsreview.com a podcast weekly and live on Sunday nights @ 9:30 pm eastern. Which can be heard on XM radio. I also extended my services to the comedian Rodney Perry on http://www.facebook.com/l/;blogtalkradio.com/rondneyperrylive.com @ 2:30 pm every Tuesday. I'm very blessed to have a job that is fun I can't complain. Plus I started a Internet company http://www.facebook.com/l/;rankmeansprofits.com to show people how to make a living online check it out. Who knows what's next all I know is "Keep It Moving".
