I, Riccardo Wardlow served my country by going into the army. I spent time in Korea, Texas, and Oklahoma. I was a communication specialist. I was in charge of keeping up all communication for the entire battalion. Great experiences, great people…. Once I got out of the army I came back to Bolingbrook “it’s a great place to grow” that’s what the sign says. I have a love for this place. I have truly enjoyed watching the changes that this great town has made. It's funny to me when alumni from Bolingbrook come back into town after being gone for years and they are shocked at some of the changes that have been made. They always say “Bolingbrook has grown” and they are right it has. I'm happily married. I'm the father of 6 kids ages 17, 16, 15, 8, 4. Five of them are boys. I always loved the circus, and that’s exactly what I have in my house everyday between the hours of 6:30 am and 9:30 pm. It's kind of crazy to see my kids at the schools that I went to. I don’t know if it's me or what but, I will never get old because I will never grow up. I'm 37 almost 38 but, I feel as though I'm 23. I actually have to remind myself of that most times. I can still to this day spend 3 hours in Toys R Us by myself playing with everything in sight. I'm a big kid when it comes to toys!!! Its funny how it seems like all we do is work and take care of our families. That's what I do…. I opened up a Mortgage company in town (Quality Mortgage Lending) where my staff is 93% all Bolingbrook alumni, up to and including Leroy and Jeff Brown, Bill Piotrowski, Sean Cochran, Kenny Frank, Ryan Chapman and of course now my two partners the twins (Krakowski brothers) and the list goes on and on…. The biggest thing we wanted to do was keep it family which we have done successfully! My main concern is to constantly reach out to fellow Bolingbrook residents and assist them in lowering their monthly mortgage payment and put them in a better quality of life. In my spare time if that’s what you want to call it. I love watching the BEARS and any other football team play, including the Bolingbrook Raiders. I see people I haven’t seen in years at every game I go to. It reminds me of back in the day…. Need to save money on the mortgage or you want to buy a home here in town or anywhere in Illinois….
